What you’ll find in March!
We grow two varieties of Strawberries, one is the Chandler and the other is Albion. While you may be familiar with very large firm strawberries, the best for eating will be soft and small. You rarely see them in store however, as they do not keep as well as the larger and tarter variety. You can still come pick the delicious little guys at our farm, however!

We grow a wide variety of lemons including the Meyer Lemon. It’s cross bred with oranges, giving it a slightly more mild taste with a bit of sugar. You can identify Meyer lemons because they tend to have a softer exterior and a round shape.
Pumelos and Grapefruit are nearly indistinguishable, but they taste so different! Pumelos are significantly less bitter and tend to be on the sweet side. If you’re not a fan of grapefruit or pumelo, try out the Pineapple grapefruit. It’ll change your opinion in a hot minute! They’re so tasty!

Kumquats have a very silly name, and a very silly growing habit. While plenty of people believe they dislike this humble little fruit, the fact of the matter is they may not have been eating them correctly. The true flavor of the kumquat is in the skin, where the sugar goes. This leaves the inside bitter, and unaware citrus fans disappointed!
The sole variety of lime we grow is the Costello lime, otherwise known as the Key Lime! If you are looking to make a fresh key-lime pie, Murray family farms is the first place to stop!
We grow a huge variety of mandarins and tangerines, including the Tahoe Gold and Dancy Mandarins which are famous for their rich flavor and juicy interior. We offer a huge selection of easy to peel natural varieties. Don’t hesitate to ask for a sample, as the flavor of each mandarin varies wildly.
Sea Beans are an exceptionally unique plant, in that it works well as an alternative to salt. These unassuming green treats make for amazingly unique additions to salad or topped on watermelon. Simply rub the green stems together or try them whole!
Avocados are a fantastic source of good fat, and one of the most undercover fruits in the farm world. Just because it’s green doesn’t make it a vegetable!

Inside every palm tree is a delightfully crisp and flavorful heart. It takes a good long time for a palm tree to develop enough to have a harvestable interior, but this treat is unbelievable. It’s a rare occasion to try one fresh, but a wonderful experience when it happens!
Loquats are very unassuming treats. At first glance you would easily mistake them for being citrus, but these little guys are unique as the day is long. Early in their ripening period they have a robust amount of acid. Given time however, their flavor becomes sweet and mild being reminiscent of Vanilla Ice cream
Extremely aromatic and pea flavored, These are the cutest contribution to any soup you could make! While they are fantastic to look at, you can also make a variety of edible delights from the flowers of the sweet pea.
